Story
For more than 150 years I've served the Kingdom of Sena. Through four Kings and a Queen. Two wars and a rebellion. I've founded and taught at a magic school. I've fought against beast waves and dungeon breaks. But now? Now, the one close friend I had left has passed. So, I'm done with their politics and their economics. The short and busy lives of humans are more burden than benefit on the weary soul of this half-elf.

I do like the story and where it is going. The amount of negativity, the overthinking and doubting and the use of the word hate Keeps one from enjoying the story completely… Hope it gets better in the future. Just get on with the story and stop worrying about the past.

Like the story, all in all, but the anger, issues and disappointment of the main character all the time with always being dissatisfied with everything is just irritating. Hope it gets better in the second book.
