The story was good but it felt like it was lacking something. Idk it wasn't bad but I found my self drifting off while listening at some points in the story. I felt the story was very repetitive about the point that he loses his tempted and she not a tamer ok I get it. Anyway get the story if you want it's decent. Morning glory milking farm is a better story

Her fear of ending up with some weird primitive alien is immediately alleviated when she’s paired with a stunning Edocit. I liked the story like every book in this series. however, this one kinda came off flat to me. It's worth the buy but I felt I could've skipped it too.

The story was great and definitely a story to listen to several times it was so good. I'm only upset the next one isn't available. The FML was strong and I loved how the ML wanted to protect her but also respected it. The plot had me on the edge of my seat. Don't waste time get the story you won't regret it.

The story is not terrible and enjoyable at some parts. it's just the FML is dumb to me or is so stubborn that denial is the way of life. I love eves books usually so I don't understand why she wrote this character to be this way especially for a badass assassin. She seems to get herself into a lot of dumb situations where she almost dies because of her idiotic choices and that stunt she pulled when she met the grand wizard guy omg I literally wanted to stop the book for the stupidity. it's like she talks a good game about making smart choices to protect the king and make plan A B C but she is the only one about to lose her life off dumb decisions. Only characters I like was the barbarian king and his people and her adopted father they were great and funny.

Kinda annoyed
Reviewed: 03-10-22
I liked the stories that came before this one. This one I think I'll return it because it was a DNF for me. The FL is freaking annoying beyond measure. She hates herself and she babbles endlessly. I can not stress how much she rants so much about nothing in the mist of danger. She is TSTL. She supposedly a librarian and smart but I don't see it at all. I felt bad for the ML dealing with her. She knows he won't understand slang but everything she says is slang to continuous confuse him. I just can't, listen if you want but remember what I said she is annoying AF.

Back to the town I really love with the characters that make it great. This story had all the good feels and great narration. I honestly wish this place was real. The love story was soul warming and the plot twist was mild giving this story a light read. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to MH next book.

This wife and husband author duo has stolen my heart like a thief in the night. I started on book one of Kates series and I didn't stop until I got to 10. I'm kinda sad its over now but baby what a ride. I don't wanna give anything away in the story. This is the first series I've ever read where I liked every book in the series. This is certainly a first for me and I'm probably still in shock. I would like to see a continuation of the story because Kate needs more and i want to see her son grow up. 10 books are not enough, far from it.
Don't be dense ppl read this series if you know whats good for ya. Enjoy

Deep Sigh, Why Just Why
Reviewed: 04-18-20
This story was painful after a while. The story goes completely downhill and awkward after on wrongful bite. This is not me being a hater because I love shifter romances my library is my proof. This story's concept on mating or recognizing your mate is BEYOND DUMB! I got the bundle book pack of this series and I could not make it past chapter 64. Mind you I jumped 6-8 chapters possibly twice. I think what got to me was the mental rape that made me cringe so badly I found myself skipping Serinna chapters. AND when it got to Taylor meeting everyone and she got confused on who her mate is between two guys I think I lost my shit (if you listen you'll know why, regardless on what happens later). This book made mating a joke... idk why I'm so passionate about it or why it makes me so mad but whatever
ok I do wanna say some nice things tho
The story (deep sigh) started off really good I swear the whole" PULL" and dreams that leads them to find their mates and others like them was cool. I liked Carley and B story they are my favorite. The sex parts were hott, steamy and abundant. The Narration was great no problems there at all. That's all... No seriously
If there was a point in the story I wish I could have stopped at it would be Carly and B wedding before the bite.
Fair warning: I can see why some may like this story for its different veryyy cringeworthy approach to shifter romance and the Soap opera drama. I say try the book and if you can get pass the point I stated above "mental rape" then I guess the rest of the book you may like.
Just curious I wonder if that can be considered a Trigger Warning, All I know is I did not like it at all.

I've passed this book 5 different times not know if I would like it. well I'm writing this review to tell you I loved it. The book deals with heavy relationship issues but I will tell you I laughed a lot too. The major twist in the story on who did it had me guessing almost until the reveal. lmao I felt shocked but somehow not shocked. Favorite character besides H/h is Tessa. JUST WOW, she is me all the way. The way the story unfolds honestly anyone could have been the attacker. The sexy times was pretty damn good too but I've heard better build up. The narration was great and the pacing of the story keep my ear plugged in until the very end. GREAT STORY WORTH A LISTEN!

Jared was so freaking loveable and sweet. He fought a tough internal battle that some snipers would feel about killing. TBH I dont think that his 'First Mate' was honestly his mate. Dont wanna say more but give it a listen and see what I'm saying. Any PNR fan will catch on when he describes what happened between him and his 'First mate'. IJS
