Ann Patchett clearly wrote this book for me. I'm happy to share it with everyone.

John Grisham doing his thing, and doing it well. You will get emotionally involved. As usual, a weak ending.

This book is hilarious! And the epilogue is a wonderful encore! It helps if you have a little knowledge of, and fondness for 70s music, but not a deal breaker.

this starts out as a gentle parable. anyone else old enough to remember Jonathan Livingston seagull? it completely tanks at the end. I tried to return it but I had listened to too much to qualify for a return.

If you're looking for a nice feel-good book, that is at least in part narrated by an octopus, then look no further.

60% memoir and 40% self-help book. He gets a little preachy at times and goes on a little too long when he does, but I enjoyed the book quite a bit.

about 2/3 of the way through this book the tone changes completely. what seems like a fun space survival story turns fairly dark and introspective. I think having Nathan fillion as the narrator possibly led me to expect something more fun. I can't recommend this book.

This was an enjoyable horror novella. The ending was somewhat awkward but worth the listen.
