Story
"I’m James Taylor and I’m a professional autobiographer", says the celebrated folk singer at the start of this tender audio memoir. Through decades of music by one of the best-selling musicians of all time, who created classics like "Fire and Rain" and "Carolina in My Mind", James Taylor has doled out his history in the poetry of his work. Taylor says his early life is, "the source of many of my songs", and Break Shot is a tour of his first 21 years in rich, new detail.

Story
Spring 1916: the horror of a stalemate on Europe's western front. France and Great Britain are on one side of the barbed wire, a fierce German army is on the other. Shaara opens the window onto the otherworldly tableau of trench warfare as seen through the eyes of a typical British soldier who experiences the bizarre and the horrible - a "Tommy" whose innocent youth is cast into the hell of a terrifying war. In the skies, meanwhile, technology has provided a devastating new tool, the "aeroplane", and with it a different kind of hero emerges: the flying ace.

There are so many small details, battles, people, and politics I was unaware of until this book series. I am looking forward to the 3rd book. So much so that i really didn’t think there was time to write a review. But this series is a must have for anyone that has an interest into WWII anf the world during that time.

The narrator saved this book for me. The story is dry and I found difficult to follow. Not from complexity, or the authors story line. It is a very dry boring story. I couldnt identify with the villans or the threat.

I'm huge Baldacci fan. I have either listened to too many of his books, other crime suspense books, or crime shows on TV. I had the plot and characters figured out within the first few chapters. If you're wanting a easy listen book then this is worth it. If you want a book to challenge your mind look at another book.

The Bible predicts that in the last days a charismatic leader will establish a global following in the name of peace. The Qur’an also predicts that a man will rise up to lead the nations, pledging to usher in an era of peace. The man in the Qur’an is called the Mahdi, or Islam’s savior. However, the man in the Bible is the Antichrist. Joel Richardson’s stunning research and analysis suggest that the Mahdi and the Antichrist are actually one and the same.
