Story
"Be holy, for I am holy," commands God to His people. But holiness is something that is often missed in the Christian's daily life. According to Jerry Bridges, that's because we're not exactly sure what our part in holiness is. In The Pursuit of Holiness, he helps us see clearly just what we should rely on God to do-and what we should accept responsibility for ourselves.

Story
Eve has a problem with clutter. Too much stuff and too easily acquired, it confronts her in every corner and on every surface in her house. When she pledges to tackle the worst offender, her horror of a "hell room", she anticipates finally being able to throw away all of the unnecessary things she can't bring herself to part with: her fifth-grade report card, dried-up art supplies, an old vinyl raincoat. But what Eve discovers isn't just old CDs and outdated clothing, but a fierce desire within herself to hold on to her identity.

I can't
Reviewed: 12-05-22
I understand everyone grieves different but the mindset is disturbing to me. I'll be the minority. You can't change the narrative of God to be okay with life. We live and we die. The awesome thing is God is a God of Love. You however, you do not define love. Love is not ego booster, it does tell the truth. God doesn't need you to validate Him. He is God all by Himself.

overall I like the series storyline. It's fiction and all fiction isn't meant to inspire. I just wish it was less detail about all the sin aspect. I don't want to visualize in detail her rape and abuse, them having sex , or witchcraft. I want to see more of a better light on Christianity. I like how the book has surprises
