Well researched story. Each individual nurse was interesting. Nurses who put their lives on the line, doing "their bit" to save soldiers' lives. Explores a part of history few know about.

Story
With no mission board to support or guide her, and less than 10 dollars in her pocket, Gladys Aylward left her home in England to answer God's call to take the message of the gospel to China. With the Sino-Japanese War waging around her, she struggled to bring the basics of life and the fullness of God to orphaned children. Time after time, God triumphed over impossible situations, and drew people to himself. Gladys Aylward: The Little Woman tells the story of one woman's determination to serve God at any cost.

A Charming Story

More like the saga of a house. An engaging story of how housemates can indeed become family through shared experiences. The only real drawback in the story is that sleeping together before marriage has become commonplace.

She has a good understanding of the Amish community and human nature. I'm still on the edge of my seat for a Book 3 in this series.

Story
Welcome to a place of unconditional love and unexpected blessings. When widow Rose Schrock turns her Amish farmhouse into a bed and breakfast, she expects there might be problems. The reaction of her cantankerous mother-in-law for one. Disapproval from the church for another. But what she doesn’t expect is that the guests at the Inn at Eagle Hill will spill their problems into her life and into her heart. She also never expects the kind of help and support she gets from Galen King, the quiet and rugged horse trainer next door. Love, Rose discovers, can bloom in the most unexpected ways.
