I can’t imagine that this is the truest series of events. I’m sure there’s some difference in how things are portrayed. But I do believe this is the incredibly true sense of how it felt. How it hurt the whole way through. And how healing, real healing, just sort of happens along the way and not at the time or pace you wished it would.

It’s an old story and it’s likely you already know it, or much of it. But Serkis breathes a shocking amount of life into it! Honestly a wonderful find, I hope more people find it out!

An amazing time tested story truly brought to life. A wonderful voice cast and reader with a soundtrack that pulls it all together. Simply the best audio version of a fantastic story!

The story is oddly paced and fuller than you likely remember is you’re already familiar with the material. Also I don’t much care for terfs so I’ve given a poor rating. Narrator is top notch though.

It a big of a slog for a while. Until nearly the middle of the book. But it really picks up and has a very interesting conclusion. It’s part of the Horus Heresy serious so I think you already know if you’re going to read it or not. 🤷ðŸ?»‍♂ï¸? But a heads up may help.
