Story
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

Hilarious, honest, and warm-hearted

Would you consider the audio edition of The Last Black Unicorn to be better than the print version?
Absolutely. Tiffany Haddish wrote it, and who better to read it?
What other book might you compare The Last Black Unicorn to and why?
This book is in the vein of BossyPants, by Tina Fey, The Bedwetter, by Sarah Silverman, and Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, by Amy Schumer.
Have you listened to any of Tiffany Haddish’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh, and I admired Tiffany's honest and open self examination. It would be hard to write in a manner so revealing.
