Story
June discovers she was born into a family of psychics and her homeopathic cures truly are magical. Unfortunately, they are not magical enough to save her from being the number-one murder suspect when a member of the community that she had just had a disagreement with shows up facedown in the lake with June’s lucky charm in the victim’s grasp. Add to that an attraction to her high school best friend, Sheriff Oscar Park and that Mr. Prince Charming, her cat, is stealing charms from Belle’s Baubles, and June is forced to clear her name in more ways than murder.

Never managed to draw me in. Performance was good and the story idea was good. I have hundreds of audiobooks and this is only the second one that I have not been able to finish.

Story
Mitzy Moon is bending over backward to be a good big sister. Spending a day at the pet invention convention seems harmless enough. But when puppy love turns into vanishing canines and a vengeful ghost, she’ll have to bend a few laws before more furry friends are spirited away. Ignoring the handsome sheriff’s warnings about evidence that cuts both ways, Mitzy’s desperation drives her to make daring decisions. Unfortunately, one crime leads to two and her carelessness puts Ghost-ma and her interfering feline in danger.

Trixie, you keep writing them and I’ll definitely keep buying. Love your characters and Colleen’s portrayal of them all. Thank you for the fun, fantastic adventures of Mitzi and her crew. Already downloaded the next and can’t wait for the rest!

Story
Agent Franks of the U.S. Monster Control Bureau is a man of many parts - parts from other people, that is. Franks is nearly seven feet tall and all muscle. He's nearly indestructible. Plus he’s animated by a powerful alchemical substance and inhabited by a super-intelligent spirit more ancient than humanity itself. Good thing he’s on our side. More or less.

Between Larry's story and Oliver's narration it doesn't get any better. Love me some MHI!

This series is outstanding. I have never written in to review a book although I love audiobooks (and especially Audible!) but I just had to for these books. The story, the characters, the location descriptions (almost as if you are actually in New Orleans.) And I can't say enough about Khristine Hvram's narration. She is my new favorite, so please keep her busy. I can't wait for the next Jane Yellowrock book. Way to go Faith Hunter, Khristine, and Audible!!
