Short but good
I have always liked Tyrus and think his eclectic path to success is really cool! I think he glosses over a lot of stories in his book, and this could be twice as long if he really delved into the details of some of his stories. Maybe he holding off for a part 2 down the road!! But a good primer from someone who refuses to stay down when life throws it’s left hooks and hard punches at you!!

Pretty damn good listen!!

This is not a book I would usual listen too, because, while Kevin Hart is a successful entertainer, he is just not my kind of comedian (not entirely true, I like some of his latest material).
However, after listening to this book, I have come to appreciate not the comedian or the entertainer he is, but the person with such sheer determination and bust ass attitude, where failure is just not an option, even when he is failing horribly.
For not being a self help or motivational book, this is one of the better, truthful motivational books you will read, because it is written from his Hart!!!! Loved it!!

Story
In the winter of 1918, at the height of World War I, history's most lethal influenza virus erupted in an army camp in Kansas, moved east with American troops, then exploded, killing as many as 100 million people worldwide. It killed more people in 24 weeks than AIDS has killed in 24 years, more in a year than the Black Death killed in a century. But this was not the Middle Ages, and 1918 marked the first collision between modern science and epidemic disease.

Incredibly Insightful
Reviewed: 07-17-20
Should be required reading for everyone, especially in our current Covid19 pandemic. This happened over 100 years ago and yet the similarities are so startling. Lying governments, lack of readiness or understanding, poor human behavior, virus spread behavior... It's strikingly similar to current events. And it is a stark reminder to the statement of those who do not study history are condemned to repeat it.
And while this was written over a decade ago, the predictions highlighted in the afterwards are scarily correct.

Story
In December 2017 the famous porn star August Ames committed suicide in a park in the Conejo Valley. It happened a day after she’d been the victim of a pile-on, via Twitter, by fellow porn professionals - punishment for her tweeting something deemed homophobic. A month later, August’s husband, Kevin, connected with Jon Ronson to tell the story of how Twitter bullying killed his wife. What neither Kevin nor Ronson realized was that Ronson would soon hear rumors and secrets hinting at a very different story - something mysterious and unexpected and terrible.

Story
In Artificial Unintelligence, Meredith Broussard argues that our collective enthusiasm for applying computer technology to every aspect of life has resulted in a tremendous amount of poorly designed systems. We are so eager to do everything digitally - hiring, driving, paying bills, even choosing romantic partners - that we have stopped demanding that our technology actually work. Broussard, a software developer and journalist, reminds us that there are fundamental limits to what we can (and should) do with technology.
