The narrator makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this one needed a different narrator!

not too bad

not too bad. storyline was decent. my main complaint would be that it's a little slow at times and some chapters seem to drag on for far too long. I enjoyed the narrator, she did a good job. It has my attention enough that I'll be purchasing book number 2 next.

just okay

nothing really special with this story. I know it has a part one which I did not read but I was just didappointed with this book. It lacks so much and I wouldn't even call it a thriller. it was actually very predictable and most of the time I found myself watching the time to see how much longer I had left. I did find the narrator to be very good but the writing was just mediocre. don't waste a credit unless you're just looking for something to pass the time.

wow! what an amazing book! I've never read anything by V.C Andrews before but I will definitely be reading more. Although the story started out slow it definitely picked up and by the end of the book I was on the edge of my seat and could not stop listening until it was finished. Don't want to give away any details but this is a must read for any thriller fan. Five stars all the way around!
