If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Head Shots & Chortling

Any additional comments?

Overall this is a good series but the author uses the word Chortle so many times it makes me want to loose my S#$%. Just a few synonyms because I don't think he owns a thesaurus. They include: cackle, snicker, snort, crow, chuckle and giggle. All of these would work in any one of the hundred or so places the author uses the idiotic word "chortle".

Has A Distant Eden: Volume 1 turned you off from other books in this genre?

The main characters kill anyone and everyone they run into. They rationalized the killing of everyone by saying that no matter their intention they ultimately were a threat to survival and therefore must die. It was laughable how they rationalized it every time and the whole group always agreed. I am a fan of the prepper genre but this is just crazy. I would be scared to live next to this author if the grid went down. He had a simple solution to survival: if you don't agree with me or you do things differently or you are just trying to take care of your family, you must die. Please don't use this as a survival manual.
