About this listen

When the man she's always been in love with starts dating one of her friends, artist Serenity Adesina creates a to-do list that will help her get over him once and for all.

The first item on that list?

Losing her virginity to Archer Harrison, her older brother's billionaire best friend…and her boss.

He's the perfect choice—alluring, caring, and entirely emotionally unavailable.

Their deal was supposed to be simple: Serenity will paint Archer anything he wants in return for a secret, no-strings-attached relationship.

Except each kiss leaves them both wanting more, tempting them to risk it all for what's growing between them. That is, until a cruel twist of fate shows them that giving in to their feelings comes at a far higher cost than they could've imagined.

Female Narrator makes it a hard listen

This is not the first book I’ve read with this female narrator and i almost DNF. The story line was good until tera came back then i feel it fell apart. This is my least favorite book of Catherine’s unfortunately.

Who cried? Lol

Catharina is a one click author for me. Add in an audiobook with these narrators and I’m there. Love this story and the beautiful escape it took me on. Thank you Catharina for another beautiful story.

Great story, but,,,

As usual, Catharina Maura knows how to write a roller coaster love story. The storyline was good and the characters were lovable. Troy Duran delivers another great performance. The female narrator was a horrible actress. Horrible. It wasn’t that she had a bad voice; her voice is fine. She is a terrible actress - cringy. I hope there’s a followup story for the brother’s character. The book did not disappoint, but I felt like I was suffering through the female character’s performance.

Good story

Everybody calling her both freeSarah and Serenity in the same sentence was confusing. And the lady doing the voiceover sounded way older than the character’s twenty two years, which sometimes made it hard to listen to. She sometimes sounded like the old lady who kidnapped Rapunzel and pretended to be her mother.
The brother was annoying. Being gone all the time and then coming back and demanding 24/7 to know all of her whereabouts was irritating. Get a gf bro. Ezra acted like a jealous gf/bf at times.
Then, the“friend”, Theo’s gf, nah. They could’ve lived somewhere else, anywhere else. It’s like she’s living the life Serenity wanted, that’s weird. And doing Serenity’s to do lists every weekend? Ain’t no way.

Ezra had enough money to go stay somewhere else, especially when Tyra came back, I don’t understand why these rich people were sleeping on couches lol

“Don’t give up on me, don’t coddle me” GIRL, Tyra was annoying, im glad she finally owned up to what she was doing and apologized to both of them.
Anyway, I’ve read almost all of the author’s books so I expected angst and a good story.

Mine For A Moment

The title speaks for itself. A heartfelt story that kept me on edge at times. Archer and Serenity that kept wanting to tell their families about them but when Tara was found words couldn't describe their love and friendship amongst them.

amazing!!

ok .. the story itself is great however there were moments where archer and serenity just kept missing each other on their feelings. I wanted to yell for them to be on the same page it did get frustrating at times, but overall it was a great story and you can feel the heartbreak for the characters. In another scene it drove me nuts when archer kept choosing someone else's priority over serenity's, I was literally yelling at the radio in the car. now for the narrators, the male narrator was phenomenal, the women's narration kept throwing me off. her voice sound muchhhhhhhh too mature for serenity's age. I couldn't picture serenity being in her 20s because of the narrator. the combo narration for the same chapter also threw me off. but the story is great !

Beautiful Story!

Thank you duet style! I love Troy Duran's performances whether female or male (definitely male 😍) but Morae Brehon is only wonderful with her female performances. I loved experiencing Archer and Serenity in their journey to their HEA. I loved the tender moments and the 🌶🌶 moments as well. The reason I can't give it the full five stars is because the third act breakup seemed to drag on and on....just felt like it lasted longer than necessary. Catharina Maura is a very talented writer and I enjoy her work...but man if I got a penny for every time I read/listened to: his/her/my "voice is soft" or he/she/I "whispered" I would be as wealthy as Archer!

4 starz - worthy of a repeat listen
