Momo and Finney have always connected deeply since Molly’s brother brought Finnegan home one day. Molly’s family embraced Finnegan as their own and Molly & Finn built a unique friendship—their ability and willingness to resist an unspoken attraction crumbled as the years passed. Lasairiona has written another candid and zany exploration of life as a young elite athlete and burgeoning young adult. She doesn’t hesitate in her storytelling with dialogue about sexual exploration, poignant social commentary, and flat-out hysterical, endearing, honest friendship. I loved Molly and Finnegan so much! Molly is my hero and Finnegan’s openmindedness, sincerity, and cinnamon roll behavior make him a top-shelf hockey book boyfriend. This best friends-to-lovers is a must-listen for anyone who likes spicy, he-falls-first, swoony, kinxploration romance!

Sophie Daniels and Christopher Anthony were terrific as Molly and Finnegan. I loved the playful airiness they brought to the booth to tell this love story. Sophie was lovely in her portrayal of the brassy, anti-feelings, relatable Molly. Christopher has done a wonderful job throughout this series in bringing each of our loveable dum dum MMC hockey kings to life. He perfectly portrays Finn’s balance of growly, protective and swoon-worthy sweetness. I cannot wait to get more Minnesota Snow Pirates in my ears!
