Amazing story and interpretation ✨

I loved this podcast with all my heart ❤️ I enjoyed so much the main characters narrators and development of the story.

I cried, I laughed, I smiled and I enjoyed each and every episode. Hoping for a second season ✨ I can imagine something like Journey to the center of the earth upside-down type of scenario.

I enter the audiobook world through being an avid podcast listener so the only thing I would recommend is for Audible to modify the form of listening to podcasts in this platform because it is not the same as listening to an audiobook and it is a little tedious to go out of each episode to find the other one, and also the pop-up for leaving a review everytime.

Haunting Story, Top Shelf Acting & Production Values

Unless one simply hates sci-fi to the core - and maybe even if one does - The Sea in the Sky is a must-listen-to audio delight. TSITS perfectly weaves together the perils of space exploration, the devastating effects of isolation, and the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity into a spellbinding 11 episodes. The story is extremely haunting and heart touching, with realistic and witty character-to-character interaction, authentic emotional conveyance, and the best acting ensemble of any podcast or audio I've heard. In my estimation, the performance by Lizan Mitchell was simply superb and deserving of an Audie nomination, but James Ludwig was close behind, and Octavia Chavez-Richmond and Pun Bandhu were excellent as well. The production values and special effects were also superb and worthy of recognition. You don't want to miss this stellar tale!

The ultimate experience

I’m recommending this to everyone I know, it offers the complete experience, science, humor love fear, all the human emotions in a story of twists and turns that you don’t want to put down. The back up sounds and music were exceptional as the readings. I could picture every instant in my minds eye; beautiful , just beautiful.

Brilliant

The whole production is very professional and the performances were wonderful. Music and sfx were spectacular. Sets the bar way up there for “audiobooks” going forward.

This story pulls you in like gravity!

I binged this entire podcast in a day. I was sucked in and couldn't get enough. This is truly a gem. The writing is stimulating, funny, and full of emotion. I loved the mission, the back stories, the score, EVERYTHING! I am very into space and all things space related, so this was perfect for me. This podcast made me feel like I imagine people felt when listening to old radio shows before TV. I've never listened to a story-based podcast like this before but I would love more stuff like this! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

A True Master Piece

The Sea in the Sky is a brilliant work from all aspects of storytelling. The story’s about a marine biologist exploring the waters of an alien moon in search of life. She reports her findings back to Earth via audio “dispatches.” The author’s skill in writing back and forth dialogues is very compelling. All the more the sound engineering, shifting back and forth from character points of view is brilliant. The sound design is first class and the sound score seamlessly reinforces the the narrative. The actors are so believable. Bravo!

AWESOME!!!

I am solutely loved this audible original. it's probably the best one that I've ever listened to so far I hope that there will be others as good as this or even better. I really can't say enough good about it. I'm not sure what I expected when I loaded it onto my system. but I thought I would like it because I like science fiction and I like stories about oceans and Diving. this is a great story but it's not a Space Opera it's character-driven which makes it even so much better. you really should listen to it. please excuse the lack of punctuation and the lack of capitalization at the beginning of sentences I'm dictating this using speech to text.
