Love this story - adds to the Outlander universe. Diana can do no wrong. The person who butchered the Scottish accent on the other hand...Jamie's "voice" was so annoying - he made Jamie sound like a shady Irishman who is living in an alley near the docks whose main job besides being shady was having no personality.

Story
Following the enormous success of 2004 bestseller and critics' favorite Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, Susanna Clarke delivers a delicious collection of ten stories set in the same fairy-crossed world of 19th-century England. With Clarke's characteristic historical detail and diction, these dark, enchanting tales unfold in a slightly distorted version of our own world, where people are bedeviled by mischievous interventions from the fairies.

I only purchased because Davina was narrating. I guess the story was supposed to be fanciful - I just couldn't get into it.

It is June 1778, and the world seems to be turning upside down. I love all of Diana's books - and these are no exception. I was expecting the narration to be awful based on other comments. He is no Davina (the audio book wizard), but not terrible!!
