One of my guys has been kidnapped. I don’t know if the Anti Magick Alliance took him or if it was the Human Extinction League. But I do know I’ll do whatever it takes to get him back. My magick is growing stronger by the day. I can feel it surging beneath my skin. I just hope I can put thoughts of my past out of my head for long enough to focus on what needs to be done.

Loved this. The five narrators are so good. The story kept me on my seat and I wanted to keep listening to it. The characters were complex and relatable. I look forward to listening to the next one.

Absolutely loved this. When I read this the first time, it was in an ebook and to hear it, it was perfect. It was the way I imagined Nova, Tanner, Cole, Mack and Luther would sound. The narration kept me wanting to read more. This was my first full cast audiobook and I absolutely loved it.
