An excellent book, it kept my attention the whole time I was listening. I'm sure it will stay with me for a long time. A very sad story, but it wasn't sad all the way through. Characters were very believable, narration was perfect. I'm going to look for more by this author.

This book kept me interested, and felt very important. It made me angry, and sad, and almost had me in tears in one bit. The narrator was perfect. Thank you to Vikki Petraitis for an excellent book.

At times confronting, this is Julie's truth. A deeper insight into someone I have followed in the public eye since 2009 and that famous Masterchef win. I went through all of the emotions whilst listening, and didn't want it to end. Thank you for helping to end the stigma around seeking treatment for mental health. Now I'm off to buy the paper version of this book.

I enjoyed the story, though I guessed at the ending, and I never guess the endings. I really disliked the voice narration for the main character, made her sound needy and whiny. This changed as I grew to like her (Emily) more, enough to finish the story. The insight into bipolar was interesting. I would read more by this author.

Great story, it kept me on the edge of my seat, and I am happy with the ending. I'm really enjoying Australian novels, and the narration was perfect. I don't even know what the other Jo Dixon book is about but that's where my next credit is going. I do wonder about the character of Lena, though. Are there actually people like that in the world? She was the only character I had trouble believing. But maybe I'm just sheltered. Anyway - well done, Jo Dixon - I loved your book!

I really enjoyed this book, finished in 2 days. The characters are believable, and the narration is spot-on. It's not edge-of-your-seat stuff, but a good story - about families, history, stories that get passed down and misinterpreted, forgiveness, and compassion. One very small criticism is that Nic sounded much older than 45. If I hadn't known her age, I would've guessed at early 60's.

What a lovely, lighthearted read. The story is simple, the characters are authentic and believable, and the narration is spot-on (aside from "library" but I still gave it 5 stars). I will be looking for more novels by Ceridwen Dovey.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this novel was compelling, I couldn't put it down. I could relate to parts, and the characters were so real. I didn't find the swearing excessive, it was in context. This novel will stay with me for a long time, and I'll be looking for more by Emily Maguire.

This was a fast-paced thriller, great story, great performances, never boring, and I didn't guess the ending. This is up with the best, and I would love to see this as a movie. Well done, Michelle Prak!
