Possibly better suited to hard format. Very underwhelming at best. Would be far more beneficial in a book for those who like this diet.

As the author of many classic works on science and philosophy, Richard Dawkins has always asserted the irrationality of belief in God and the grievous harm it has inflicted on society. He now focuses his fierce intellect exclusively on this subject, denouncing its faulty logic and the suffering it causes.

Story
The Tattooist of Auschwitz is based on the true story of Lale and Gita Sokolov, two Slovakian Jews who survived Auschwitz and eventually made their home in Australia. In that terrible place, Lale was given the job of tattooing the prisoners marked for survival - literally scratching numbers into his fellow victims' arms in indelible ink to create what would become one of the most potent symbols of the Holocaust.

A life worth living and fighting for.
Reviewed: 14-05-2018
The writer transcribed beautifully a valued life and story through the experiences of an ex prisoner of war in Auchwitz concentration camp. Woven throughout years of shock and trauma inflicted be German guards that they themselves were only boys turned into animals, I scarcely know how a human endures such inhuman treatment without losing the will to survive.
The surprising twist was to see how a life long love found a way to blossom dispite and perhaps because of their shared hardships that so few could ever fully comprehend let alone understand.

A rags-to-riches tale, Jonah's journey spans the breadth of human experience, from the intricacies of Edward III's political intrigues to the cutthroat world of international trade, from the triumphs of war to the agonies of personal loss - love, friendship, joy, heartbreak and glory. Set largely in London, the Scarlet City, the centre of medieval England, the Scarlet City trilogy is a thrilling portrait of the age and the people who made it so rich, colourful and extraordinary.
