A rollercoaster of a ride with all the feels.

Part 2 of a duet set in a different timeline I wondered where this story could go, it tapped into all the emotions with the struggle of finding and keeping love in the most difficult of situations, the danger of assumptions and the struggle of finding a pathway to happiness amongst a trail of destruction. This series is up there in my top reads. Narration was on point, being able to translate the emotions from the page to the listener.

An emotional rollercoaster

An original storyline dealing with PTSD and depression, lots of triggers if that’s an issue for you. I went into this without reading the blurb and I’m glad. I listened to the audiobook in one day. I was absolutely enthralled in the storyline, which I thought was unique, and the narrators brought the story to life. I shed quite a few tears whilst in this journey but it does have a HEA.

I really did enjoy this 3 book series on 3 brothers in the Russian Mafia. I thought the back stories on their girls were really thought out and their characters were good but once they were together it’s pretty much just sex and I love you continually. There is no angst so if you just want a nice stress free enjoyable romance where the bad guy meets his soul mate and turns into every girls dream guy, these are for you. Narration was great.

Butcher and Blackbird was brilliant, I didn’t think it could be topped but Lachlan and Larks story had everything, the narration was outstanding and who doesn’t love an Irish accent. The storyline was great, I wish I could listen again for the first time.
