Beautifully read book.
This is a sensitive story which gives a lot of time to developing life like characters.
I feel that everyone would grow in kindness by listening to this wonderful story.
I highly recommend it for young kids, older kids and adults, since I doubt that anyone would be disappointed.

Story
Following Jane from her childhood as an orphan in Northern England through her experience as a governess at Thornfield Hall, Charlotte Brontë's Gothic classic is an early exploration of women's independence in the mid-19th century and the pervasive societal challenges women had to endure. At Thornfield, Jane meets the complex and mysterious Mr. Rochester, with whom she shares a complicated relationship that ultimately forces her to reconcile the conflicting passions of romantic love and religious piety.

This read of the book is completely brought to life by Thandie Newton. Even my 7 year old daughter is drawn in and is able to follow the story. I highly recommend this book. The story is so old, and yet highly relevant to today too, as Charlotte Bronte explores equality in society.

If you haven't met a Moomin yet, you're in for the most magical fun! The unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of Tove Jansson's endearing classic, Moominland Midwinter, read with warmth (and some lively character voices) by the comedian Hugh Dennis. 'This is snow,' Moomintroll whispered to himself. Moomins always sleep through the winter - or they did until the year Moomintroll woke up and went exploring in the silent, snow-covered valley where the river used to scuttle along and all his friends were so busy in summer.

Of especially naughty children, it is sometimes said: “They must have been raised by wolves.” The Incorrigible children actually were. Discovered in the forests of Ashton Place, the Incorrigibles are no ordinary children: Alexander keeps his siblings in line with gentle nips; Cassiopeia has a bark that is (usually) worse than her bite; and Beowulf is alarmingly adept at chasing squirrels.

This is my favourite of Tove Jansson's Moomin books.
Each chapter is a complete story, where she explores the psychology of a given situation.
The feelings of her characters are so well portrayed.
I highly recommend this book to be enjoyed by kids with their parents.
You will all get something out of it and have a good laugh at the same time.

As with all of Dahl's books, these stories are great.
Well read, and great to hear Dahl himself!
However, we were disappointed that the stories were condensed... they are not nearly as good as 'the read thing'

Story
Of especially naughty children it is sometimes said, "They must have been raised by wolves." The Incorrigible children actually were. Turning sixteen is a bittersweet occasion for Miss Penelope Lumley: Her parents remain disappointingly absent, and her perfectly nice young playwright friend, Simon Harley-Dickinson, has not been heard from since he went to visit his ailing great-uncle Pudge in the old sailors' home in Brighton.

As with all of the Incorrigible Children...
My kids say that this is their favourite set of books we have read this year (and we read a lot)
May be a bit scary for kids under 7 years old to listen to on their own.
This series of book is read by the most amazingly tallented woman.
Well done.
