Not a cult classic: Just a stupid book

Pretentious, yet basic. I stopped reading, not only because it was boring, but I was put off by the rolling of a dice and raping women

Not much to dislike. For those that love history, this tells the brutality of this era, through a non biased lens. The battles that were won were as calamitous as they battles that were lost. An era of stupidity that needs to be heard

Story
Flannery O’Connor’s astonishing and haunting first novel is a classic of 20th-century literature. It is the story of Hazel Motes, a 22-year-old caught in an unending struggle against his innate, desperate faith. He falls under the spell of a “blind” street preacher named Asa Hawks and his degenerate fifteen-year-old daughter. In an ironic, malicious gesture of his own non-faith, and to prove himself a greater cynic than Hawks, Hazel founds The Church of God Without Christ but is still thwarted in his efforts to lose God.

Drawing on groundbreaking new research, this audiobook hands you the tools to work out whether you have burnout - or not.

In the high mountains of Tibet, rumors are spreading. People whisper of an outbreak, of thousands of dead, of bodies pushed into mass graves. It is some strange new disease...a disease, they say, that can kill in minutes. The Chinese government says the rumors aren't true, but no one is allowed in or out of Tibet. At the Pentagon, admiral James Curtiss learns that satellite images prove that a massive genocide is underway. This is no disease. It's a weapons test. Chinese scientists have developed a way to kill based on a person's genetic traits.

Much better than the movie. Stephen King’s Epic.
At the end of his story - King’s description is gripping and tragic. Whatever the force is that runs through John Coffey, is delivered articulately in this Stephen King Epic. If you ever choose to read a King novel instead of watching the movie (however good), the Green Mile is worth every page of time.

We actually feel others' emotions, energy, and physical symptoms in our own bodies, without the usual defenses that most people have." The Empath's Survival Guide is an invaluable resource for empaths who want to develop coping skills in a high-stimulus world while embracing their gifts of intuition, compassion, creativity, and spiritual connection.
