Story
When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

Grateful for it
Reviewed: 18-09-2020
I'm really grateful that after the horrific theft Stephanie suffered, she was able to finish this book and that it was produced so wonderfully as an audio book. In saying that, I didn't enjoy it very much, but only because I think it's not for me anymore. I read twilight as a teenager and I don't think I'm midnight sun's audience anymore. I struggled not to be bored. But in saying that, I think Stephanie did a wonderful job of Edward's side of the story and gave us insight into some of his decision making.

Story
Connell and Marianne grow up in the same small town in rural Ireland. The similarities end there; they are from very different worlds. When they both earn places at Trinity College in Dublin, a connection that has grown between them lasts long into the following years. This is an exquisite love story about how a person can change another person's life - a simple yet profound realisation that unfolds beautifully over the course of the novel. It tells us how difficult it is to talk about how we feel and it tells us - blazingly - about cycles of domination, legitimacy and privilege.

No ending
Reviewed: 05-04-2020
The story and the way they move around each other is fine but there is no ending, it cuts off, and also leaves open a lot of unhealthy issues for the hoth of them. Overall I dont feel like they progressed as characters or in their relationship and it was extremely unsatisfying to have it end that way.

It hasn't rained in Kiewarra for two years. Tensions in the farming community become unbearable when three members of the Hadler family are discovered shot to death on their property. Everyone assumes Luke Hadler committed suicide after slaughtering his wife and six-year-old son. As suspicion spreads through the town, Falk is forced to confront the community that rejected him 20 years earlier.

Great listen

This book is driven by mysteries and who done its and none are left hanging at the end which I so appreciate. The pace in which we find the answers is well done too, allowing the listener/reader to come to terms with everything. I've never read anything of this genre before and now I'm hooked!

This book is lovely and charming, great for adults and kids. I enjoyed all the magic of winding circle and all the characters. It's been one of my favorites for years. I even named my son Moss. Hearing it read to me, especially but Tamora, is priceless <3

Like all Tamora Pierce's books, this was one epic adventure, and was performed beautifully. I love that she narrates and I love that they asked her about her writing at the end. I fangirled hard haha. Her stories are the reason I love fantasy so dearly.
The only downside to this particular series is that a line is crossed between teacher and student. It doesn't matter that she's older now, he was always a power over her and that's not okay.
