Story
When I left that night, I had every intention of coming back to you. To us. But no matter how hard I wish for what I want, there are some things in life that aren't meant to be. I don't expect you to understand. You've already moved on, living your life. But mine ended that night, nine years ago, and I still can't let you go. Not sure I ever will. I regret so many things, but hurting you, I'll never forgive myself. I'm sorry for...everything.

Cute but..

Slightly predictable and gets a little off track with 4 chapters back to back of basically physical imagery/scenes. Starts off quite intriguing but fizzles to a quite average predictable ending. Good for a little background noise novel

The narrators were a little hard to follow at times as both were reading both main characters. Got lost now and then. The stories though were more than expected. Twists, turns and a little touch of ‘oh crap’ mixed in. Well worth the listen from book 1 to 4

Story
When life dragged me down, I assumed I’d never get back up. I never guessed that Andras—the dark magic user I was always told to fear—would not only give me a helping hand, but draw me into his arms and protect me from those who wished to harm me. I never imagined that Andras and his “danger noodle” would be there to make me laugh, to care about me, and show me what it means to be loved. But now, the two of us have to prove to the Casters that we won’t be knocked down.

The narrator has done it again. Bring life to these characters in the series. Lots of turns I had to re listen to as I kept getting lost, but due to me being distracted not the story telling. Definitely worth the listen to complete their saga from book one.

Story was a little hard to follow at times as it jumped from chapters to characters and back and forth. As the voices were too close to each other other to work out who was talking. A few repeats and got through. All in all, worth the follow on to book 2
