Story
When mystery author D. B. Ziegler is late delivering her book, Abi Schore steps in to help. Surely she can give her favorite author moral support over the holiday break and get the manuscript to her boss at Tea & Sympathy Publishing in time for the new year. When Abi shows up on Ms. Ziegler’s doorstep bearing holiday treats, she’s met by the author’s handsome grandson Dov, who reveals a startling plot twist. His grandmother isn’t able to finish the book and Dov promised he’d complete it so fans won’t be disappointed—a task that’s harder than he ever imagined.

Story
Hallie Barrett's life has imploded after she's dumped by her hotshot ex, who also happens to be her coworker and the star of the online series she was producing. Without a new show to present for the company competition, she’ll be out of a job. But inspiration can come from the strangest places . . . like the most handsome guy she’s ever seen passionately discussing Bigfoot on a late-night docuseries.

Very cute story that triggered nostalgia.
Reviewed: 07-12-2024
I will be honest, the opening part made me think that the story was going to be an audio play with lots of audio effects. So, I put it down and listened to other books.
Thankfully, I came back, pushed through the first bit, then when it switched to normal book mode, I started falling in love with the story. Then nostalgia was triggered.
I also had a few laugh-out-loud moments, which is rare for books with me. Great line delivery from the voice actor really helped here.
I'm looking forward to the next book from this author.

When I was a teenager, late 90s early 00s, I drank up every spooky, supernatural, and paranormal books, shows and films. both fiction and non-fiction. Every time I went to the Library, I'd head right for that section in the non-fiction section - 001.9 and 130. So this was a joy to read.

WTF did I read and WTF did I love it?
Reviewed: 13-09-2024
I didn't really know what to expect going into this book. but as the story unfolded I found myself laughing along and having a lot of fun. I was very much 'WTF have I started reading' at the start, but it very quickly sucked me in so much that I couldn't stop listening.
I didn't realise how much I needed a book like this one to make me smile. I'm looking forward to the next one.
note on audiobook: The performance was amazing, BUT the audio levels were so frustrating at times. I had to keep going back a few seconds and adjust the volume because Noah's mumbling/murmurs etc was so low I could barely hear it, while the regular levels were loud. this wasn't a particular performer, this was both, so I'm putting it down to post-production. Again, their performance was FANTASTIC, but that damn audio levels...

Story
Cassie Greenberg needs a new place to live, and fast. When she finds an affordable apartment in a beautiful neighbourhood, she knows there must be a catch. Of course, her new roommate Frederick J. Fitzwilliam is far from normal. He sleeps all day, is out at night on business, and talks like he walked out of a regency romance novel. He also leaves Cassie heart-melting notes around the apartment, cares about her art, and asks about her day. There's no denying there's a spark between them - but there's also a secret.

The ending was a bit... hmmm. But, everything else made up for it, so I'm still keeping it at 5 stars.

Story
I might be the only unmated female in my tribe, but it doesn't mean I've given my heart. I'm waiting. I want resonance, and I won't settle for anything less. But when an alien ship lands and a handsome stranger steps out, I know he's the one. His name's Mardok, and he's fascinatingly different - and distractingly appealing. But Mardok can't stay on the ice planet, and he says he can take me with him.

I'm not a fan of the manic pixie dream girl trope. but somehow this worked a little. maybe because we had some of her back story previously?
Mardok is now one of my favs. Maybe because he's from the stars and brought a different flavour into the universe.

I've never spent a day without my mate since arriving on the ice planet. I'm happy and in love, and we have a beautiful child together. All that changed when the world shook. My mate nearly died. He wakes up from his coma...and he can't remember me. Or our son. Every memory of the past two years is gone. And that changes everything between us. How can I love someone that doesn't remember me? How can I not, when I know he's still my mate underneath it all?

Story
This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

This was a sweet little story that def has some cheesy moments, but also some really cute moments.
I enjoyed it, but it was also very predictable. No real 'oh wow' moments (like previous books).

The Greek myths are amongst the greatest stories ever told, passed down through millennia and inspiring writers and artists as varied as Shakespeare, Michelangelo, James Joyce and Walt Disney. They are embedded deeply in the traditions, tales and cultural DNA of the West. You'll fall in love with Zeus, marvel at the birth of Athena, wince at Cronus and Gaia's revenge on Ouranos, weep with King Midas and hunt with the beautiful and ferocious Artemis.
