I loved the details setting things in context and the explanation of disease. Following each skeleton and grave site through a process which explains the effects on function and the social context of an illness or skeletal deformation.

A great reappraisal of the life and work of an undeniably great writer. Thank you Lucy Worsley for this book which puts Agatha where she should be amongst the great literary crafts people.

Confusing and a bit over blood thirsty

I enjoyed the characterisations and the setting. I found the description of the murders overly vivid and blood thirsty. It made me feel unsettled. The twist at the end was interesting. Overall the book made me feel sad.

I saw early on what was likely to be the connection. Whilst it was cleverly done the narration let it down. There was no change of expression in the voice no characterisation. I got fed up with the detective tapping. I am sure there were loose ends that were left untied.

Against all odds once again Reacher sees through the tortuous plot twists to the truth and comes out smiling toothbrush and all.

The techniques talked about in this book should be taught to us all. An eye opener around the link between mind and body. Makes me wonder again about the motivations of large corporations and governments.

Absolutely loved this book. You are on the edge of your seat the whole way. The ending as ever with Mr Towles is a complete surprise.

I love this narrator really adds to the text. Great story teller, really captivating, but honest and clear sighted with Simon Schama's usual fascination with words.

I found the subject matter interesting. Well researched and thorough. The stories and the use of the words near death experience was repetitive
