Story
You’ve read the headlines, but you don’t know Jamie Lynn Spears. The world first met Jamie Lynn as a child star, when it was her job to perform, both on set and for the press. She spent years escaping into different characters—on All That, Zoey 101, and even in the role as Britney’s kid sister. But as she grew up, faced a teen pregnancy, raised her daughter on her own, pursued a career, and learned to stand on her own two feet, the real Jamie Lynn started to take center stage - a raw, blemished, and imperfect woman, standing in her own power.

Insightful & Raw

I commend Jamie Lyn for pouring her heart and soul into this book. Being open and honest and showing an insight into life through her eyes and the path she has been on both as an individual and as a mother.
This book shows how our childhood experiences and upbringing mould us and ultimately impacts our thoughts, beliefs and view of the world. That the environment we are raised in can shape and impact us not only as kids but affect us into adulthood.
I may have a life very different to Jamie Lynn but many parts really resonated with me in particular; how our childhood affects how we handle experiences in adulthood, how toxic abusive relationships are not easy to escape especially when a child is involved and ultimately the experience of wanting a life much different to what you grow up with. Realising your own inner strength and that you are deserving of better and not settling for anything less.
Thank you for sharing your story Jamie Lynn.
