Story
This is a self help-book like no other. Because you are not helping yourself, James Acaster is helping you. When James quit all forms of social media in 2019 he felt like he'd been born anew, but he was worried he'd suffer withdrawal and get lured back online to compete in a never ending popularity contest with only one possible winner (f--king Zuckerberg). He knew that in order to stay clean he'd have to replace everything social media used to give him with three-dimensional real-life activities.

not my cup of tea

shame, since I love James' comedy, and was hoping this book will be a collection of stories about his life. turns out it's a fictional account of his character and it does drag on. creative, sure, and I kept on hoping there will be a massive punchline at the end, but sadly not.

Story
From intelligence to emotion, for centuries science has told us that men and women are fundamentally different. But this is not the whole story. Shedding light on controversial research and investigating the ferocious gender wars in biology, psychology and anthropology, Angela Saini takes listeners on an eye-opening journey to uncover how women are being rediscovered. She explores what these revelations mean for us as individuals and as a society, revealing an alternative view of science in which women are included rather than excluded.

Google employees think that women are inferior? They missed the science. Read this book and give it to your friends to read for an easy to understand history of how scientists have misrepresented women's biology and the impact of society on women.

John did it again. Maybe his best work yet- take a sketch for two people and make it half an hour long. The result is smart, funny and engaging. More of these!

The complete second series of BBC Radio 4's award-winning sketch show - winner of the Chortle Radio Award of the Year. In these six episodes, which make up the complete second series, you'll hear some moth-based lunacy, an awkward celestial relationship, a heart-warming tale of the days before health and safety, and how The Archers sounds to people who don't listen to The Archers - plus many other sketches featuring acute observations and wonderful wordplay.
