Story
Sydney Shaw, like every single woman in New York, has terrible luck with dating. She’s seen it all: men who lie in their dating profile, men who stick her with the dinner bill, and worst of all, men who can't shut up about their mothers. But finally, she hits the jackpot. Her new boyfriend is utterly perfect. He's charming, handsome, and works as a doctor at a local hospital. Sydney is swept off her feet. Then the brutal murder of a young woman—the latest in a string of deaths across the coast—confounds police. The primary suspect? A mystery man who dates his victims before he kills them.

I’ve been trying to find a good book after listening to the silent patient. This is good. :)
Not the ending I expected. Love the twist

Story
Jackie and Pete King have lived in Dunmore for years, running one of the two local pubs in the sleepy little town. Money has been tight after the bushfires, and it’s about to get tighter if they can’t find a way to pay their suppliers to keep their business going and keep the bank from foreclosing on their property. So when Jackie receives a mysterious phone call offering them $100,000 to let someone bury a body on their land, the answer isn’t as simple as they thought it would be.

Wow shocked

I’m so shocked. I honestly didn’t think I would have enjoyed this. I’m not a fan of Australian accent audiobooks as it tends to make me sleepy while I’m driving. But this surprised me. The story was enjoyable. Definitely will check out a few more

Then a man called Daniel Kinder walks into Saltern police station and confesses to the murder. But DI Rowan Jackman and DS Marie Evans of the Fenland Constabulary soon discover that there is a lot more to Daniel than meets the eye.

A bit slow
Reviewed: 03-01-2023
It was a bit slow, and for me it had a lot of characters that I was required to actually listen to. This is definitely an audible in which you need your complete attention, and I usually like to listen to them in the background of designing. However the store line is good, I didn’t expect the ending at all.
