I was so moved by the reality check. Thank you to the author for tackling this issue.

I feel the title is lacking as I nearly went past it for fear of it being a sappy story but this is a must read and will appeal for the history, the drama, the horror, the culture and the comradery.

Story line was complex enough to stay interesting but not so dramatic that you feel you are being dragged through a hedge. I’m keen for the next episode.

Got a bit confusing flipping around but… interesting story
Reviewed: 09-01-2024
It is a good story that had me involved but then it abruptly changed time/place/characters without any notice. I wondered if my audio book had cancelled and moved onto another. It felt like two authors with in depth descriptions of the past and light and fluffy writing for the current storyline. Other than that it is a good book.
