Good story but let down by poor narration. The narrator mumbles and slurs through most parts...hard to hear. Sounds like she was reading to herself.. mumbles and swallow some of the end of sentences.

Inconsistent characters behaviour

Only good thing from this is the narrator. she did a good job with her voices for different characters. The bad thing is the entire storyline and characters. Repetitive lines and Inconsistent behaviour of some casts that made me either roll my eyes or cringe with frustration. Not worth the time and credit spent.

Story was inconsistent. Characters were dumb and dumber as the story progresses. Some plots seem pointless. Main female character was mouthy but mostly hot air with no substance. Ending was worst, no resolution and just trying to get you to buy the next book. Would stop here and not bother ..too much time invested in a thin plot going nowhere

While the narrator did a good job, the story was a let down. Cassie came across as dumb and stubborn. She keeps saying she doesn't understand but when told the truth she refuse to believe. Even when shown proof she still refuse to believe...her simple brain too dense to comprehend. Keeps repeating the same line "I don't understand " ...The story became so frustrating to listen to that I couldn't finished it.

The series were good but choice of narrators unfortunately in this case was disappointing. Male narrator's voice was nasally, whinny and a total turn off. Female narrator sounds old and motherly. Will listen to other stories in the series but not the ones with these 2 as narrators.

Great narration but unlikeable character

I struggle to finished. Main character, Saber, is all hot air with no substance. Keep wishing the story will do her more justice by hinting she is something more but nope, throughout just keep repeating how dangerous she is but every turn she is the weakest. She is so full of self pity and keeps making stupid decisions. By stroke of luck she manage to survive. I find her rather irritating and would not bother to find out what happens to her next.
