The quintessential grumpy old man, Barry Cryer's standup combines the quick wit of Radio 4 with the charm and class of the 'Great Men of Comedy'. He has been a regular panelist on I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and Just a Minute, the latter of which he also chaired. In 1998, Barry wrote his autobiography, You Won't Believe This But…, which has been broadcast on Radio 4.

Barry Cryer has collaborated with all the greats from Max Miller to Tony Hancock, Bob Hope, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, John Cleese, Frankie Howerd, Kenny Everett, Spike Milligan, Eric Sykes, Dave Allen, Richard Prior, Tommy Cooper, Les Dawson, Graham Chapman, the Two Ronnies, Morecambe and Wise - in fact, almost all the great comedians and comic writers since the mid 1950s.

Humphrey Lyttelton was a role model, influence and inspiration for several generations of musicians and comedians. Performing at this special tribute concert, organised and introduced by his son Stephen, are an all-star cast of friends and admirers from the world of music, including Elkie Brooks, Stacey Kent, Jools Holland, Charlie Watts, Acker Bilk’s band and of course the Humphrey Lyttelton Band. Joining forces with them are a host of comedians from the Clue team, including Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden, Barry Cryer, Tony Hawks, and more!
