The reading was a little too fast-paced for me with no real pauses or gaps. The tone made it difficult to find rhythm or meaning and read as a little flat. I'm sure others might have a very different experience, perhaps if they know the tone of these poems beforehand, but the reading could have used more feeling - more oomph. A little disappointing. Some music between poems or in the background would have been nice and added a beautiful immersion. I love Rumi, but I did not get past the first chapter unfortunately.

I loved the selection in thus audiobook and discovered a few that I have now fallen in love with. It's difficult to find audible poetry that I can relax into and this is perfect. The music gives you a full immersion and the pacing is very good. Thank you!
