Story
People-smuggling, counterfeit currency and attempted murder. It's all in a day's work for undercover cop Dan 'Spider' Shepherd. But what starts as a run-of-the mill investigation quickly turns into a matter of life and death when he uncovers a terrorist cell on a mission of death and destruction. The target: hundreds of passengers on a cross-channel train deep below the English Channel.

Love the narrator, he has the wonderful to portray any characters personality through voice, even females.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

What a choice for my first audiobook!

As the title says, this was my first ever audiobook. I am so glad that I chose it!
Artemis is a really fun story that really gets you pulling for the main character. You really feel for her as she goes about her life, getting into mischief, while still dreaming big. Rosario Dawson was the perfect choice for narrator too :-)
I really struggled to stop listening to this, and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Story
Defeated, crushed, and driven almost to extinction, the remnants of the human race is trapped on a planet that is constantly attacked by mysterious alien starfighters. Spensa, a teenage girl living among them, longs to be a pilot. When she discovers the wreckage of an ancient ship, she realizes this dream might be possible - assuming she can repair the ship, navigate flight school, and (perhaps most importantly) persuade the strange machine to help her. Because this ship, uniquely, appears to have a soul.

Easy to listen to

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It is a good story, with some moments that made me laugh out loud, as well as some that had me gripping the steering wheel (I listen to my books in the car) wondering what was going to happen next!
I thought the narrator did a great job, and would recommend to anyone wanting and easy to listen to, sci-fi/futuristic, type book.

Not Really Sure What I just Listened To...
Reviewed: 14-03-19
I have to say that I've just finished listening to this book and, I'm afraid to say, completely baffled about what it was all supposed to be about...
It started off with a reasonable chance of going somewhere interesting; however, around half way, it became a children's book. The language changed, and the story just stopped moving in any specific direction.
Very disappointed.
