I have been so busy excited to read this book and I wasn’t disappointed.
It was a trilling end to an epic adventure which has had me hooked for the last 3 years.
Any of these characters could warrant their own movie and it will be a massive shockingly this doesn’t get picked up for film or Tv.
Loved it. Mr Robinson you are a genius

Story
Udo's biggest problem isn't being a digger (that's low class), or staying drunk (that's damn expensive), or avoiding the Dwergaz (they're monsters), or even pissing off the supposed Gods. It's that his reality...well, it isn't what he thought. And now, he can't even afford to drink because his so-called friend Nicz is cutting into his business, digging up tin, iron, and copper. So Udo forms a new plan: clay. After all, clay jars are used to store everything: meat, herbs, and, his personal favorite, ale.

This is a great book in a great series. I love the characters and the writing and narration are on point (as always from NSS and Ray Porter).
Surely this has to be picked up for tv or film, a sopranos or godfather for our generation.

I am beginning to feel this is my favourite series. The author can make you love a character almost instantly and with RC bray narrating it is the perfect partnership. Can’t wait for the next one. Also someone seriously needs to get the film rights for this it would be awesome.

I loved this book. I am a huge Devon c Ford fan. Once I worked out who the characters were and their view of the situation. I love that it doesn’t give you a full view of what’s happened at the start and gradually gives you the back story as you go along. Ray porter is excellent and I will definitely be listening to more of his work in the future. I just really hope the next book comes out soon so I continue the story.

I was given this book free in return for an honest review.
This has the makings of a great series. I love the characters and the story is great. The main character is now one of my favourites and I personally love the quotes before each chapter.
The narration is great and I will now be looking for more books narrated by this guy. I couldn’t stop listening and can’t wait to listen to book 2.
