Story
The world's greatest bodybuilder. The world's highest paid movie star. The leader of the world's sixth largest economy. That these are the same person sounds like the setup to a joke. But this is no joke. This is Arnold Schwarzenegger. And this did not happen by accident. Arnold's stratospheric success happened as part of a process. As the result of clear vision, big thinking, hard work, direct communication, resilient problem-solving, open-minded curiosity, and a commitment to giving back. All of it guided by the one lesson Arnold's father hammered into him above all: be useful.

Hmmm, not sure about this
Reviewed: 03-05-23
The basic idea of this book can be summed up in a paragraph: Some people like things, others like touch, some presents, kind words etc.....
It's a mildly interesting read/listen, but surely anyone with half an ounce of common sense should know what your partner wants or likes? The key is communication.
Put me off towards the end when it goes bible heavy, and talking about forgiving someone who cheats, or loving someone you hate.
Not for me, and will probably return it

Now, in a memoir as full of warmth, wit and wisdom as she is, Sara shares what it took to get there - from manning factories overnight with her mam and dad to hitting the trade shows of Las Vegas alone, armed with little more than ambition and a passion for crafts. This is a decent book about Sara's life story and route to success. I didn't find it as inspiring as Duncan's but was interesting to get Dragons Den and Strictly insights. More biography than business guidance, a decent read though.

It's pretty interesting and there's some good guidance/advice in here too

Most self-help books encourage you to think differently, to think yourself thin, imagine a richer self or visualize the perfect you. This is difficult, time consuming and often doesn’t work. Drawing on a dazzling array of scientific evidence, psychologist Richard Wiseman presents a radical new insight that turns conventional self-help on its head: simple physical actions represent the quickest, easiest and most powerful way to instantly change how you think and feel.
