Just not for me.

This will be fun sci-fi for most, but it just didn't click with me. I think it was the dialogue, and Chuck grated on me throughout the book. Excellent narration from R.C. Bray as always.

When Englishman Chris Broad landed in a rural village in northern Japan he wondered if he'd made a huge mistake. With no knowledge of the language and zero teaching experience, was he was about to be the most quickly fired English teacher in Japan's history? An entertaining journey

The journey Chris has taken during his time in Japan is fascinating to listen to. I burst out laughing several times over the course of the book, relating to Chris as a fellow Englishman who has also found himself in ridiculous situations whilst living abroad.
This is an easy listen with excellent narration from the author. If you've seen and enjoy his YouTube channels content, then this book will be right up your alley.
