Story
On the night Rune’s life changed forever, blood ran in the streets. Now, in the aftermath of a devastating revolution, witches have been diminished from powerful rulers to outcasts ruthlessly hunted due to their waning magic, and Rune must hide what she is. Spending her days pretending to be nothing more than a vapid young socialite, Rune spends her nights as the Crimson Moth, a witch vigilante who rescues her kind from being purged. When a rescue goes wrong, she decides to throw the witch hunters off her scent and gain the intel she desperately needs by courting the handsome Gideon Sharpe.

I followed the hype train with this and while I enjoyed the book overall I don't think their is anything that was outstanding about it. good plot and magic system if a little gross and a slow burn romanceish both felt a little weak.

This is really enjoyable however keeping track of the range of characters both suspects and victims was hard work at times. I loved the main characters and the end and final reveal is really worth it in had no idea. really threw me for loop. When the next book comes out I will definitely be a reader.

This group of friends is amazing and the fact they all have their special input in these stories makes them a great group effort. the only reason for the 4 star rating was I felt this lacked a little emotional content of previous books.

Trust doesn’t come easily when you’ve been running for as long as I have, which is why moving in with a man I barely know is such a bad idea. Shepard Colson is all golden-boy charm and devastating good looks. But I know what it’s like to be taken in by easy smiles and the promise of forever—I have the scars to prove it.

OMG This guy is just too adorable. I don't think their has been a male character I have loved this much in ages. in the midst of an intense suspense I might add he really did sell this. Love the found family in this story. Also warning for abuse mental and physical.

I was really impressed with this. I have not heard of this author before but this was great fun. made me laugh and be sad but I also got excited. if I was rating this at home it would be a 4.5 because it was only the audio performance that I didn't enjoy.
