Ok so listening to the intro this book had so much potential in store yet I found this a very disappointing book. I found myself lost between scenes and unfortunately quite detached for the main character. So I generally found it hard to stick with. The overall setting and its missions were good however also were the descriptions of the weapons used that why ive given the performance a higher score.

A good Chris Ryan book not for the faint hearted

A good story and plot. The war crimes and choice of victims are quite disturbing and I'm sure the aim of it is to be a lot more shocking then the usual bullet to the brain descriptions you typically find. All in all it was good.

A good balanced overall action book...

Enough twists and turns to keep the suspense going.
I really enjoyed this book it has a great plot and nice balance of action vs politics and scene setting.....as a listener, time well spent.
(Only as a desirability) I Would have liked just a little more technical detail included to really enhance the credibility of the characters levels of skill and expertise.
