Story
They were called Talents - people with extrasensory abilities including reading minds, predicting the future, and healing. But though their gifts were useful and powerful, they were not happy. Often afraid of their own "inexplicable" powers, they lived on the margins - until Henry Darrow dreamed up the Parapsychic Center and started making a place for the Talents. It wasn't very long before they had a mission - and enemies.

Story
There is a killer loose on the streets of London, one that evades security cameras, is not held by locks, and savagely mutilates his victims. When the murderer switches from unknown prostitutes to Julie Longmuir, a beautiful actress at the height of her success, no woman feels safe. As the press begin to draw uncomfortable comparisons with Jack the Ripper, Jane Sullivan, heading up the police investigation, grudgingly has to agree.

Story
You'll lose a lot of sleep.... Ralph does. At first he starts waking up earlier. And earlier. Then the hallucinations start - the colours, shapes and strange auras. Not to mention the bald doctors who always turn up at the scene of a death. That's when Ralph begins to lose a lot more than sleep. When he begins to understand why his hitherto mild-mannered friend, Ed, is getting out of control - dangerously so. And why his hometown is about to become the new Armageddon....

what is with the over loud music sections
Reviewed: 02-08-19
Great story, great story teller, unfortunately, the music, which I presume is there for dramatic effect, is way to loud and drowns out the story teller in parts. Disappointed!

Story
Killashandra Ree has spent ten grueling years in musical training, anticipating interstellar celebrity as a vocal soloist. She is young, beautiful—and still without prospects. After learning that a flaw in her voice will prevent her from singing lead, she hears of the mysterious Heptite Guild on the planet Ballybran, where the fabled Black Crystal is found. Mining this strange form of crystal is a dangerous occupation but to Killa, the risks are acceptable. Remarkably, her adaptation to crystal mining is unusually easy. The problem is—few people who land on Ballybran ever leave.
