The battle of the dead was won, but at a great cost. Sion, leader of the Mist Village, was left with only pain and regret as Richter was claimed by the abyss. plus the countless other things that have to be done so it's highly confusing that this book just adds more things to do. what's this going to be a 20 or 30 book series?
And at least he only agreed to steal the wand not to gìve it to the demon.
Plus if you're going to have so much waffle then the book needs to be 30 or 40 hours long so you actually get some descent story.

Story
Chod has obtained an item with the potential to turn the tide of battle if it can only be unlocked. To unleash the power of the mighty green dragon, first, it must be hatched—a feat unheard of for generations. For any chance of success, Chod needs a location rich in life aura, and there are precious few. While new allies march toward Seascape, Chod and company head to Wandermere, the fabled land of centaurs and Mythos’s most ancient forest. The life aura within may be dense, but sinister monsters have escaped from the shadow realms with the intention of overtaking the forest.

A little bit better than the first but it doesn't make you want to buy the rest. It could have been a great story but as it is it's garbage.

Story
For Hudson, the virtual world of PrimeVerse isn't all bad. It's beautiful, much nicer than overpopulated Earth. It almost feels like a vacation except for the volatile wildlife, lack of any amenities, and—oh yeah—the inability to log out. Exploring the world, learning his class, and leveling skills is all fun and games until a powerful rogue player with a vendetta shows up to wipe out Hudson and his primitive tribe. Thrust into a conflict he didn't create, Hudson is forced into a cycle of respawning where he learns that even death can be used as a tool. So much for that vacation.

A great series. it does get a little more crazy during each book and the overall ending is a bit of a let down but other than that the first 9 books are excellent and even though the ending is a bit of a let down it's still good.
