Story
It's not easy being a rebel. So many new skills to assimilate. Never mind strategic planning, weapons expertise and the like - there's bicycle-stealing, oil-stain removal and boat steering to be mastered first. And quickly. It's the time of the Civil Uprisings and two young women set out to make a difference. Their only problem? They don't know where they are. Or where they're going. Or what to do when they get there. Other than that ...

I am busily reading my self through all the excellent St Mary's books. This is an amazing short story which quite frankly I found so emotional and touching. So my courage from three simply modest ladies.

I usual love Heidi books, but this one was long and boring. Just could not connect with the new characters. There was just no connection between them. The humour was missing.

I dont think I have read such a depressing story in a long time. I must admit I didn't finish it...it was one doomed love story after another. So much gloom and doom was just a great story. It may have a happy ending but I wasn't interested to find out.

I Have loved all Spohie Claires other books, but this one missed the marks for me. Such a shame as I have waited for it, The main characters didn't seem to have the chemistry you would expect and seemed to lose their way somehow. 😕

Sally is a classic romantic and Harry is a classic cynic, but when a drunken bet leads the new flatmates to (badly) recreate ‘the lift’ from Dirty Dancing, and the video goes viral (#EpicRomcomReenactmentFailure), they both realise there’s potential financial benefit in blundering their way through the romcom lexicon for their suddenly vast social media following. Now, as Harry and Sally bring major romcom moments to new life – including recreating that classic diner scene – their faking it turns to making…out and suddenly they’re living a real life romcom of their own!

The perfect summer romance from the author of A Christmas Tail. Perfect for fans of Sarah Morgan and Holly Martin.
