Story
Never in my 40 years did I think my new normal would be gluing body parts back onto ghosts and hosting a houseful of dead squatters. Thank God for superglue and a strong stomach. Never thought I’d date the Grim Reaper and that I would be the one to blow it. I mean, how idiotic does one have to be to get dumped by a dude who lives in Hell? Going about business as usual is not usual in any way. No one is who they seem to be...and to be honest, neither am I. What I’d known to be true has turned out to be myth. The angels are frightening, and the demons are hot.

Story
Thirty-nine was a fantastic year. I was married to the man I loved. I had a body that worked without creaking. My grandma, who raised me, was still healthy, and life was pretty damned good. But as they say, all good things come to an end. One year later, I’m a widow. My joints are starting to ache. Gram is in the nursing home, and dead people think my home is some kind of supernatural bed-and-breakfast. Gluing body parts onto semi-transparent people has become a side job - deceased people I’m not even sure are actually there.

I cannot believe how much I enjoyed this book. I downloaded based on a recommendation under another book I'd just listened to. Holy hell I can't believe how much of a hilarious but emotional read it was. it was the perfect fit for me in its writing style, character development and plot. I have already ear marked every other title in the series to follow immediately on with both the living and dead.

You have poured your heart and soul into your writing I am so glad listened to your audio book as well as reading it. I would recommend this to anyone that is a fan of 19 kids or counting on as it gives clarity to a lot of situation we witnessed on TV and shows people in their true light.

This is the whole story, right from the beginning: the sun-bleached streets, the grimy bars on the Sunset Strip, knowing Daisy’s moment was coming. Relive the euphoria of success and experience the terror that nothing will ever be as good again. Take the uppers so you can keep on believing, take the downers so you can sleep, eventually. Wonder who you are without the drugs or the music or the fans or the family that prop you up. Make decisions that will forever feel tough. Find beauty where you least expect it.

Just Wow! one of the most enjoyable books I have come across in an extremely long time. I didn't want my car journeys to end just so I just get to the next chapter of Daisy's/Billy's life. The way Taylor Jenkins Reid writes is incredible, so enthralling, I was captivated from the first page. I thought the Seven Husband's of Evelyn Hugo was amazing, but this way surpassed it. I will definitely be making my way through all her other books. 1000% recommend 🧡
