Story
Michael Young is a brilliant young history student whose life is changed when he meets Leo Zuckerman, an ageing physicist with a theory that can change worlds. Together they realise that they have the power to alter history and eradicate a great evil. But tinkering with time lines is more dangerous than they can imagine, and nothing - past, present or future - will ever be the same again.

No idea what was going on but loved it anyway!!

Firstly I’m a fan of Stephen Fry and Richard E Grant and enjoyed their narration. The first half of the book was intriguing but I was constantly wondering what was going on and the depth of the story during the Great War in the German trenches still baffles me, why? Who! What! but it was an enjoyable bewilderment. However the second half was easier to follow as the hard work of laying the foundations had been done in first half. You won’t be bored listening to this and I became increasingly invested as the story unfolded and I grasped the plot. And overall I thoroughly enjoyed buoyed it. As others have said stick with it!

Story
'Infamous, I have become disowned, but I am one of your own' - Myra Hindley, from her unpublished autobiography. On 15 November 2002, Myra Hindley, Britain's most notorious murderess, died in prison, one of the rare women whose crimes were deemed so indefensible that 'life' really did mean 'life'. But who was the woman behind the headlines? How could a seemingly normal girl grow up to commit such terrible acts? Her defenders claim she fell under Ian Brady's spell, but is this the truth?

Ignore negativity about narrator!!

Very difficult subject matter but it has been handled in a factual manner, no bias evident and certainly no glorifying the murders.
Interesting listen, if you hate Myra Hindley and iain Brady you still will, however you’re left to draw your own conclusions, mine would be that Myra did not accept any responsibility and spent her life trying to manipulate her way out of prison whereas Brady accepted his punishment
