Story
The lives of Henry VIII's queens make for dramatic stories, and Alison Weir writes a series of novels that offer insights into the real lives of the six wives based on extensive research and new theories. In all the romancing, has anyone regarded the evidence that Anne Boleyn did not love Henry VIII? Or that Prince Arthur, Katherine of Aragon's first husband, who is said to have loved her, in fact cared so little for her that he willed his personal effects to his sister?

Innocent people do go to jail. Sometimes mistakes are made. But even more terrifying is when the authorities conspire to frame them. That's what happened to Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey, who were convicted of murder and are serving life sentences. Un-Making a Murderer is an explosive book which uncovers the illegal, devious, and covert tactics used by Wisconsin officials.

What would have made First of the Tudors better?
It's near impossible to understand the 'So called' Welsh, I only got through 15 minutes and had to turn it off.
Has First of the Tudors put you off other books in this genre?
Most definatley
How did the narrator detract from the book?
I found it hard to understand the reader, so lost the thread of the story very early on.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from First of the Tudors?
Not listening to more than 15 minutes, I don't feel I'm able to comment,
Any additional comments?
I was so disappointed with the narration, I looked forward to listening to this book, what a let down.

Would you listen to Prisoner of the Queen again? Why?
I really enjoyed this book, the reader lacked any kind of personality and seemed distant from the character, sad. But interesting story. Don't think I'd listen again.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Prisoner of the Queen?
The pure jealousy the queen had toward the main character had me despising her even more than I did already, the taking away of her youngest child was a strong moment.
Have you listened to any of Corrie James’s other performances? How does this one compare?
This was the first book of this author I'd listened to..
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I found it heart breaking, though I never actually shed tears, I did get emotional.
