I absolutely love Torsten Weitzer's 13th Paladin series, until now! Gerdart was a superb narrator for this book and I have no idea why the author changed him for Tim Casey. Tim simply changed every character that we had experienced so far and it was immensely disappointing. if Gildart doest return then I cannot continue to the end! Tim Casey isn't a bad narrator, just not suitable for this series of books and after Gildart Jackson created characters' voices. The author shouldn't have accepted a narrator that couldn't pick up where Gildart left off. Bring back Gildart, please.

It's a great story, but I was a little disappointed with the narrator. Too stilted and not enough character in his voice.

Joy Ellis' books have amazing storylines with plenty of twists and turns. Richard Armitage's narration is superb and he is brilliant with accents. Another great listen 👏👍👌

The previous book I read was narrated by a different person and completely spoilt the effect of the story with his appalling accents. HOWEVER, I am so pleased for Joy Ellis that she brought Richard Armitage on board as narrator for this book. His narration and the storyline was brilliant. Full marks, 10 house points and a gold star for this one : )

Joy Ellis' storys are amazingly great, but unfortunately for this one, the narrator, Anthony Ferguson, is terrible! In particular, his use of British dialects (Bryn is Welsh but sounds Cornish) and many other anomalies, plus Ferguson is clearly British but used American English too much! Thoro instead of thorough was a massive bug bear for me. I'm listening to the next book in this series (Book 2) and I'm pleased to say the narrator is great...don't base all Joy's books on the dreadful narration of Antony Ferguson. One thing, for certain, is I will not purchase a book with Ferguson as the narrator ever again!

A good book with an exciting action packed and raunchy story, with some very amusing lines. As I mentioned on my last review shame about the Cockney dialect, but apart from that good oration xxx

I enjoyed the book very much. Being English and living close to London England, my only negative was that considering Sam Parker was meant to be a Cockney neither narrator honed the Cockney accent at all. PJ still sounded like an American badly attempting Cockney and Justine, although doing a great middle class British English accent, did not sound like a Cockney either. Americans often struggle with British English and Canadians, when mimicking British English do a good job but British dialects aren't easy. A voice coach may have helped to make it more believable, or maybe it would have been better to have left out the Cockney element from the story altogether. That said both narrators were brilliant and I absolutely loved the story. I'm looking forward to listening to Suzanne Wright's The Bite That Binds, now x

I wasn't sure what to expect but I loved the story, as scary a thought as it was, and is incredibly thought provoking...considering what is happening with humanity in this day and age. I feel anything is possible. This amazing book makes me believe that with the powers that control us this could be a reality and we, as humans, are more powerful as a collective. I loved this. Great authorship great narration x
