I loved finding out more about Ava's back story and why the last book ended the way it did. Really looking forward to the next instalment and Really enjoy Richard Armitage's performance.

I love Jonathan Keeble reading these books! he brings the characters to life. I also love that we've ended on a cliff hanger! Next book already downloaded!

thoroughly enjoyed this book by LJ Ross, who I'm ashamed to say, was an author I had not come across. I saw her being interviewed by Robson Green on Holy Island and was intrigued about the setting of her books. The 3 books in the trilogy have all built up a good head of steam. The characters have developed nicely and the local references are spot on. Also love the choice of narrator, who's accents were fantastic! Geordie accents are notoriously hard to pull off, but not only did he achieve it, I was able to quite easily recognise the different characters. Would definitely recommend.

I love Stephen King, but I found this one to be not quite his usual calibre. The story was hard going and the music didn't help at times.

Read this story a few times, most recently in 2020..... saw the audio book and used my credit, which was money well spent! Narrator was easy to listen to and I was able to recognise very easily the different voices for the different characters.
