Story
Are there other dimensions beyond our own? Is time travel possible? Can we change the past? Are there gateways to parallel universes? All of us have pondered such questions, but there was a time when scientists dismissed these notions as outlandish speculations. Not any more. Today, they are the focus of the most intense scientific activity in recent memory. In Hyperspace, Michio Kaku offers the first book-length tour of the most exciting (and perhaps most bizarre) work in modern physics.

Story
It’s been said that the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing us that he doesn't exist. Using the literary device of an “as told by” autobiography, the Kabbalah Centre reveals the concept of the Adversary, which plays a major role in kabbalistic teachings. Satan resides within each of us, manifesting as a recurrent little voice of uncertainty. The tests that he puts before us are a means to help us grow.

Job's tale and beginning of the universe
Reviewed: 29-01-22
Keep this in your mind for while. So, the adversary "Satan", destroys Job' house killing all his children, thieves stole all his belongings and was hit by leprosy. So Job still had faith and he didn't complained to God for his misery and "bad luck".
Now hear this: In the beginning of the teachings, Ravi tell us that the unique energy that was there before even the creation of the universes and we call God, wanted to share his love, bliss and kindness but couldn't because it was alone. So, it created a being as a recipient for his love. It created
a Soul which after the events later was broken into the souls of the existing people. Our purpose is (according to the Ravi) to find the way to return back to God and appreciate the real happiness as having endured a lifetime of testing of Satan's tricks. So far , so good. Now let's link it with Job and also to our stories in real life here on Earth. Facts: 1. Children's souls is part of the one Soul.
2. Job's children are getting killed by Satan's actions and if we correlate with today children are currently getting murdered, raped, neglected in ages from infant till 17 y.o. What is the purpose for this kind of behaviour towards that? Satan is putting into test little souls of e.g 4 y.o toddlers? Satan expect that these young souls have the experience knowledge to know what is wrong or right? Can these victims be part of God's act as Satan is here to help us (according to Ravi)? So Job's children were killed just to test Job? what about the children individually? what purpose did they serve? why these souls to be tortured without being able to defend themselves in the first place?
conclusion: I can understand the logic so it is a big no for me. Worth to listen to it, as every book deserves that BUT please put your logic and sense and assess what is actually presented. Some parts of the book are very interesting but always try to evaluate .

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Without a broad view of interconnectedness, our problem-solving skills are limited and short-sighted, and our abilities to make long-term, beneficial decisions are hampered. If we don’t acknowledge our interdependence's complexity, then we are doomed to replicate a system that will ultimately fail. Just as every node on a network contributes to the final result, every action of a member of a particular organizational system contributes to the outcome.

In some chapters it was like alexa but with a male "strong" voice without though any up or down in pitch...a monotonous thing. Sorry Jacob I am not a fan mate... The book was not at all interesting for me, nothing that I haven't heard before. I didn't like it at all. I suppose I can have a refund for my wasted money, can I ???

The early Christian Church was a chaos of contending beliefs. Some groups of Christians claimed that there was not one God but two or twelve or thirty. Some believed that the world had not been created by God but by a lesser, ignorant deity. Certain sects maintained that Jesus was human but not divine, while others said he was divine but not human.
