Story
With the invasion of Earth handled, and an enemy Chosen now targeting him, Jake makes his final push for C-grade… A final push that includes refining one last skill before he evolves. Once that’s done, all he needs is a few more levels and to finish off his bucket list of vanities before it’s time to evolve. The evolution itself will have no surprises, right?

Continuation of a great story
Reviewed: 13-07-24
As the title of the review says it's just another fantastic continuation to an intriguing but fun story with all the game lit included. I would say it builds up the stories of a few more characters and definitely answers some questions from previous books and leaves you wondering about what's next and what the past life has been of some of the main characters

Story
If, like Kane, you're a Denied Access Area spy for the CIA, then boundaries have no meaning. Your function is to go in, do whatever is required, and get out again - by whatever means necessary. You know when to run, when to hide - and when to shoot. But some places don't play by the rules. Some places are too dangerous, even for a man of Kane's experience. The badlands where the borders of Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan meet are such a place - a place where violence is the only way to survive.

A long wait

Having waited a substantial time for this book to come out I found it and often felt like the book was just going on and on without much cohesion behind the writing. Definitely would recommend Eye pilgrim but can't be sure to recommend this one at all.

Another great book in the series. Fills out more of the characters stories that you meet throughout the series of books. Leaves me wanting a continuation of the whole story as well as more details of all the other characters in the world created.

Story
She's gotten food and shelter for her family. Her oldest is turning into a wizard, her middle boy is some kind of self-healing monkey, and her youngest is accumulating a small army of pets. That's a bit much to roll with, but when monsters are appearing on the lawn, it's probably for the best. What worries her is the mysterious—and dangerous—"challenge" she knows is fast approaching, and she's got to get her kids and community ready to face it. Some neighbors are ready and willing to pitch in, but others? They might end up being a bigger problem than the alien monsters.

Story
It is the distant future, and Baird is a loner, a part time spy, and a notorious alleged thief. “Notorious” for the audacity of her crimes; “alleged” because nobody has ever been able to legally prove she committed any of them. When the hush-hush agency known as the Toolbox recruits Baird, being a clandestine operative seems like a great way to get paid to do what she already does anyway. That is, until a mission goes wrong, and Baird is infected with a deadly virus.
