Vanessa Edwin voices three American women. Elena, Arden & Rika.
Shane East absolutely nails it, voicing with his sexy af British accent, three british brothers. Chance, Reece & Dane.

Chance and Elena meet in a bar. She is having a super stressful day. When sexy Brit, Chance Dixon offers her a night of passion, she is totally on board. They didn't even finish the elevator ride up to his room, before he was deep inside her. A quick meeting and an even quicker departing. But they meet again. It's just a shame that they both work for his ex-wife.

Elena's brother is going off on his travels, meaning Elena's apartment will be empty. So Reece asks if he can stay at Elena's apartment, in New York for a little while. Of course he can. But unbeknownst to either of them, her brother had told his friend, Arden, that she can stay there.
Arden thinks Reece is super hot, and Reece reciprocates that feeling.
But things get a little complicated, because Reece is a player and Arden... Well, she's a Virgin.

Dane sells his sexual wellness company to Celeste Arnoux, Arden's grandmother, after she told him she would make him a millionaire.
That's great, but money has never really been the be all and end all of Dane's existence.
Rika is his PA and also the sexiest woman he had ever laid eyes on.
Unbeknownst to Dane, Rika thinks Dane is the hottest thing on two legs.
With the relaunch of his Wellness toys, vibrators to you and me, Dane really needs to be seen as a man about town.
So what better way to go about improving his image, than to ask Rika to be his fake girlfriend.
Yeah, that type of romance never goes the way you want it to.

This story was well written and exceptionally well narrated.
Andy Arndt and Sebastian York are two of my favourites.
Four years ago, two young people, in love, attended a party.
It was supposed to be a fun night out, but three members of her high school had other ideas.

Lyndsey was drugged and so viciously violated, that she spent months in the hospital while doctors repaired her beaten, broken and violated body.

It's four years later and Lyndsey has finally been released from the mental institution that her parents shipped her off to, after the violent scandal.

Her dad is running for President and wants no feathers ruffled.
Her ex boyfriend, Drew, is on her security detail.

She thinks that he just sat there and watched, that awful night four years ago.
The truth is so much more horrifying.

This is the story of two people striking out to find the truth of what happened.

But when the violators from four years ago find out Lindsey is home, their sights are set o the highest level; and they have only just got started.

Now watch Drew and Lyndsey fight back!

Kendall Ryan wows again, with this romance series.
Over all, this was an enjoyable listen. It definitely made my work week go better.
Of the four books, I have to be honest and say that those read by Ava and Sebastian are by far my favourites. Sebastian has the kind of voice that has your panties melting off. Jeremy, especially in the 4th book, The Soul Mate, didn't have the same charisma for me. That doesn't mean that they aren't enjoyable, just that I would have stayed with the other two narrators throughout the series.

The Room Mate - Ava Erickson & Jeremy York.
Her best friend asked if her little brother, Cannon, could stay in her spare room. Just for a while, because he's fresh from a messy breakup. Of course he can. After all, they used to play together when they were younger. Cannon was geeky and younger than they we're, but you got to help out an old friend, right? So why does her heart skip a gazillion beats when he shows up at her front door? Oh yeah! Because he grew up into a freaking Adonis; that's why.
One drunken night, he confesses that women can't help but fall in love with him, once he's taken them to bed.
What can the harm be in proving him wrong, if it gets her a few O's thrown in? It's not like she's about to fall in love with him. Right...Right

The Play Mate - Ava Erickson and Sebastian York. This is a great Friends to lovers romance.
This one works straight away, for me, because it has Sebastian York narrating. Firstly, you know straight away that this book will be melting your panties off. Secondly, Sebastian York is the perfect narrator for any romance.
Smith Harrison is smart, super hot, loaded, super hot... Did I say that already?
He is about to go into business with his best friend and his best friend's sister, Evie.
He needs to control himself a little better around her. He wants her, but she's off limits in fear of totally ruining, not only his partnership with her and her brother, but also losing the friendship that they've had for ever.
They meet up in a bar in France, the two men already being chatted up by two Parisian women. Evie isn't best pleased. It's messing with her chances of bedding Mr. Smith Harrison. Her plan later that night, is going off without a hitch. She has snuck into his hotel suite and, in the dark of night, into his bed. She has the most amazing orgasm before her breathy moans make him realise that it isn't the French woman from the bar, but Evie. He brings the night to an abrupt halt. That's when things start getting interesting. Do they go their separate ways, or let their mutual attraction culminate into many sizzling night's of extacy?

The House Mate - Ava Erickson and Sebastian York.
Max Alexander is gorgeous and well off, but can't seem to find love. Another promising one night stand is ruined when a woman shows up at his house and leaves a note, a bag and a baby. His baby. His world gets flipped on it's head. He's equipped for most things, but bringing up a baby? Yeah, that isn't one of them.
So he advertises for a nanny. Addison has just become single and needs something to get her out of her permanent state of funk. She falls in love with Max's daughter, Dylan... But can she protect her heart from falling for Max.

The Soul Mate - Ava Erickson and Jeremy York.
Dr. Mason Bentley has a one night stand he knows only as, Bryn, but she absolutely rocks his world. So much so, that he has to find her; because he believes that she is his soul mate. Weeks go by with no luck and he's ready to give up his search, until a woman comes into his office to have an exam for a potential pregnancy. Imagine both their surprise, when he's in the middle of examining her and she moved her hands away from her face, to reveal none other than Bryn. Now the race is on to prove to her that true love and soul mates really do exist. But how do you do that when the other person doesn't even believe in Happy Ever After?

First off, I absolutely swooned over Shane East narrating. Andi Arndt, is also superb, as always.

The story, in itself, was a decent one.

It tells of one woman's struggle to overcome her past and make sure she never lets any man get close enough to make her give up everything for.

He is ex British SAS and has a thing for blondes. But only for one night.

Skylar works on Super Yachts, as Head Steward, and has a particular set of requirements for her perfect man. But if you look hard enough, you'll realise that it's impossible to accomplish, meaning she'll spend her life without a man at her side.

Landon has retired from the army, sold his company, for millions of dollars, and is now looking to relax a little before his next job with MI6.

They meet one night in a bar and have wild, passionate sex. Then she kicks him out and sends him on his way.

His friend calls him up with a job. one last one, to help out an old friend. A dangerous man owns a suoer yacht, but is planning to sell arms to insurgents. He needs eyes on him and any Intel. How can he refuse.

What he hadn't bargained on, was Skylar working on the same yacht.

Now this might just get interesting.

First off, I want to say that any author savvy enough to use Sebastian York and Lynn Barrington for their narration are half way to a decent book already.
As with all romance audiobooks, the delivery is key, and Sebastian York has The most panties melting voices in the industry.

Ok. Now I've got my fan girling out of the way, the story.

Charlotte Darling has split from her fiance, after she caught him and his secretary in his office, while she was 'bobbing for apples' ans its not even Halloween. Tsk Tsk.
So, Charlotte takes her wedding dress to a store that sells second hand wedding dresses. They don't give cash but credit. While in the store she rummaged through all the other dresses, wondering what their story was. She comes across a beautiful dress with a note seen inside.

This note sparks a whole new life for Charlotte as she reads the note, written by Reed Eastwood to his then fiancee, Alison, and sets out to find the man who wrote such a romantic love note.

Oh she finds him alright, but that meeting doesn't quite go to plan... All I can say is, Dog Surfer Trainer... but maybe the universe has decided that these two people needed to meet in order to find themselves and the real meaning of true love.

I highly recommend this book. It is written well and narrated well.

This wasn't a particularly bad story, but it really didn't help that it was told, in its entirety, by a male narrator.

It's the story of a man who made his wealth dealing in money. He has helped out some of the world's largest financial institutions and countries and saved them, single handedly apparently, from ruin.
He and his co-workers are on their way to seal a deal with Brazil, when their plane goes down.

Valencia Bouchard has been sent in to find and save them.
Only someone lied on the planes manifest. There were five passengers, not four.
So someone has to stay behind. Valencia is the most qualified to survive the jungle.
But wealthy money mogul, Silas, isn't prepared to leave anyone behind, let alone a woman. So he stays with her.
This is their strenuous journey to escape an island whose volcano has decided to let them know it's awake.

I'm not a big fan of romance audio books that are only read by one person. Be it a man or woman, the opposite sex always comes across as wrong.
The narrator in this one had absolutely no depth of feeling and I was really glad when it ended.
The story itself was ok, but the narration really did detract from the overall experience.

What made the experience of listening to Angel Within the most enjoyable?

The incredible voice of Scott Ehredt was a huge part of Angel Within's enjoyment factor. He brought the characters and the story to life.

What about Scott Richard Ehredt’s performance did you like?

Despite the rich timbre and masculine lilt of Scott Ehredt's voice, he has such a vocal range that brings all the characters to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Very much so. If I could have listened to it in one go I would have done, but sleep intervened.

Any additional comments?

The story and the characters had you wanting to get to know them more. You travelled their entertaining and funny, yet heartbreaking journey with them. This is the reason I loved Angel Within
